Satisfying taste
Id like to think of myself as somewhat of a jerky connoisseur, but in all reality Im a sucker for anything that resembles teriyaki and softer meat thats chewable without being dry. I tried the original flavor and found it to be on the sweet side, but discreetly so. I was a little underwhelmed with how thin they are and plowed through the entire box in one sitting, so that should say something (which by the way, am I the only one who thinks 9 is a weird quantity?). My only complaint is they are a bit on the greasy side, but Im not sure if thats what keeps them semi-hydrated or if its the flavoring? In any regard, these are a new favorite!
Simply Great
We are devouring these because they taste really good. They are moist and chewy but not hard on my teeth (old fillings can be an issue).
Different but good
It is different that other meat snack Ive tried. The flavor is good (sweet & savory), the texture seems a little tough at first, but is tender once you bite into it, and its moist. Overall, I like them, and so does my 15yr old son.
Simply Great
The texture is great. Not nearly as tough as most sliced/dried-style jerky. The original flavor is strong, almost a teriyaki. I can only imagine how much teriyaki flavor the teriyaki has!
Good For Kids
These are absolutely delicious jerky snacks! Chicken is the first ingredient, and all the other ingredients are good. There are no cancer-causing nitrites added as may be present in other preserved meats. The flavor is mild and I can detect honey. There is no spice in these at all, and I think these would be equally enjoyed by kids and adults alike. They are also low on calories and will make a great guilt-free snack. The individually wrapped chicken bars are convenient for on-the-go. These are also chewier and softer than the regular jerky and will not hurt your teeth when eating. The only critical thing I have to say is that I wish these had a little bit of spice to them and were less greasy. Overall, these are quite nice and I have ordered other products from this company that were also good quality.
